Creating an account in the Astropad Studio app

In an effort to make Astropad Studio as accessible as possible for our users, we have implemented a few different methods for creating an account and signing into our app. The current options available include signing in with your Google account, Apple account, or a standalone email and password.

If you are using Astropad Studio for the first time and creating your account through the app, you will want to start by tapping on the Try Free & Subscribe button.

Keep in mind, the sign-up methods below will not work for you if you already have an active account.

Creating an account with Google

1. After tapping Try Free & Subscribe, tap on Continue with Google.

2. Astropad Studio will ask you to confirm that you would like to continue signing in with your Google account. Tap Continue to proceed.

3. Select the Google account you want to use to create your Astropad Studio subscription.

4. Enter the password associated with your chosen Google account, then tap Next.

5. Astropad Studio will now have you choose your preferred subscription model. Select one, then tap on Try Free & Subscribe.

6. You will be prompted at this point to set up a payment method for your account unless you have already set up a payment method through your Apple ID. This payment will come from your Apple ID even if you are signing in using your Google account since this is an iPad app downloaded through the Apple App Store.

7. Once you officially subscribe, the app will sign you in and you are ready to connect your devices!

Creating an account with Apple

1. After tapping Try Free & Subscribe, tap on Continue with Apple.

2. Confirm that you would like to sign in with your Apple ID using Face ID, Fingerprint ID, or manually inputting your Apple ID password.

3. Choose what information you would like to share with Astropad when creating your account with your Apple ID. We typically recommend sharing your name and email so our support team can find you in our system if account troubleshooting is ever needed. Otherwise, it will generate a random email that is tied to your Apple ID, but makes accounts much harder to find if you do not know what this generated email is and did not share your name during account creation.

4. Astropad Studio will now have you choose your preferred subscription model. Select one, then tap on Try Free & Subscribe.

5. You will be prompted at this point to set up a payment method for your account unless you have already set up a payment method through your Apple ID. This payment will come from your Apple ID since this is an iPad app downloaded through the Apple App Store.

5. Once you officially subscribe, the app will sign you in and you are ready to connect your devices!

Creating an account with Email and Password

1. After tapping Try Free & Subscribe, tap on Continue with Email.

2. Enter in the required information to create your account. Make sure you use an email that you have access to because this is how we will contact you and find your account if you need any support!

3. Astropad Studio will now have you choose your preferred subscription model. Select one, then tap on Try Free & Subscribe.

4. You will be prompted at this point to choose your plan and set up a payment method for your account unless you have already set up a payment method through your Apple ID. This payment will come from your Apple ID since this is an iPad app downloaded through the Apple App Store.
