Black Screen Issue | Luna Display for Windows

If you see a black screen when using Luna Display, there are a few things you can try. First, make sure you are running the latest versions of Luna. If you are not, update the apps and see if that solves the issue.

Option 1: Change Graphics Settings in NVIDIA Control Panel

  • Open the NVIDIA Control Panel.
  • Go to Manage 3D Settings > Program Settings.
  • Add Luna and set it to use Integrated Graphics.

Option 2: Change Graphics Settings in Windows Settings

  • Open Windows Display Settings on your PC: Settings > System > Display.
  • Scroll down to Multiple Displays and click Graphics settings.
  • Add Luna Display to Graphics Settings.
  • Set the dropdown menu to Desktop app, then click Browse.
  • Find the file path where Luna Display is installed and click Add.
  • The default path is usually C:\Program Files\Astropad\Luna Display\Application.

  • Once Luna is added to the list, click Options.
  • Select Power saving and click Save.
  • Close and re-open Luna Display.

These steps are similar to what is shown in this video (just replace OBS with Luna Display).
