Black Screen Issue | Luna Display for Windows

If you receive a black screen error indicator, there are some workarounds you can try. First, be sure you are running the latest versions of Luna. If you are not, update the apps and see if that solves the issue.

Option 1: Change the Graphics Settings in NVIDIA Control Panel

Open your NVIDIA Control Panel > Manage 3D Settings > Program Settings.
Add Luna and you should be able to select "Integrated Graphics" to be used.

Option 2: Change the Graphics Settings in Windows Settings

1
Open Window's Display Settings on your PC. Open Settings > System > Display. Scroll down to Multiple Displays and click "Graphics settings".

2
Add Luna Display to Graphics Settings. The dropdown menu should be set to "Desktop app", then click Browse.

3
Find the file path where you installed Luna Display and click Add. If you used the default path, this will most likely be C:\Program Files\Astropad\Luna Display\Application.

4
Once Luna is added to the list, click Options.

5
Select Power saving and click Save.

6
Close and re-open Luna Display.

These steps are similar to what is outlined in this video (just replace OBS with Luna Display).
