How to Use Teleprompter Mode with Luna Display

What is Teleprompter Mode?

Teleprompter Mode is available in:

  • Mac version 4.2 or newer
  • PC version 5.1 or newer

This feature is designed for use with a beam splitter and flips the iPad display vertically to create a proper teleprompter reflection.

How to Enable Teleprompter Mode

1. Plug in Luna Display
Connect the Luna Display hardware to your Mac or PC.

2. Launch the Luna apps
Open both the Luna primary app on your Mac or PC and the Luna iPad app. Make sure both apps are up to date: Download the latest versions here.

3. Adjust the Luna Settings

Mac

Go to Settings > Mac-to-iPad and check the box for Enable Teleprompter Mode. Your iPad display will flip upside down.


Windows

Go to Preferences > PC-to-iPad and check Enable Teleprompter Mode. The iPad display will flip upside down.

4. Use with a beam splitter
Pair your iPad with a beam splitter to get a true teleprompter-style setup for video shoots or livestreams.

Note: Touch interaction on the iPad is disabled in Teleprompter Mode.
