Using Luna Display with Zoom Whiteboard and Screen Sharing

You can use Luna Display during a Zoom call to extend your workspace or draw with your Apple Pencil using the Zoom whiteboard on your iPad.

If you’re in Mac-to-iPad mode, you can move the whiteboard to your iPad and annotate with your Pencil as you present.

If you’re sharing your screen in Zoom, moving the whiteboard or app window to your iPad will temporarily pause screen sharing. To resume, just click “Resume Share” in the Zoom toolbar.

Running Zoom and Luna together can place a higher load on your system, especially over Wi-Fi. For best performance:

  • Use a cabled connection when possible (USB, Ethernet, or Thunderbolt)
  • Close any unneeded apps to reduce strain on your Mac
  • Keep both Luna and Zoom up to date

This helps ensure smoother screen sharing, better Apple Pencil response, and a more stable connection during your call.
